Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakech
1ST DAY: MARRAKECH
Arrival at Marrakech airport, assistance by our staff and transfer to
The Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2ND DAY: MARRAKECH
After breakfast departure for the sightseeing of Marrakech: the Ménara Gardens the Koutoubia Mosque. The Bahia Palace, The Saadiens Tombs and the famous Jamaa El F’na Square. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
3RD DAY : MARRAKECH / AIT BEN HADDOU / ZAGORA
After breakfast, Drive to Ouarzazate crossing the Tizin-Tichka Pass (2260m). Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou: Is a striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco, is an UNESCO World heritage site since 1987 and several films have been shot there. Drive to Zagora crossing the Draa Valley with its famous oasis and Palm grove. Arrive at Zagora. Dinner and lodging in hotel.
4TH DAY: ZAGORA / TAZZARINE / ALNIF / MERZOUGA
After breakfast, drive to Tamegroute, visit of the Coranic Library, then continuation to
to Erfoud via Tazzarine and Alnif, enjoying the the Saharian Landscape. Arrival to Erfoud, transfer by Camels to reach the Dunes of Merzouga to assist the sunset. Dinner and lodging under Tents in the Desert Camp.
5TH DAY: MERZOUGA / TINGHIR / OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, drive to Todra Gorges: It is a fault in the plateau and feels as if the earth has split open. The brown limestone walls rise 300 metres above the stream; it all makes for an impressive spectacle. Free time for lunch and continuation to Ouarzazat, visiting by the way the Dades Gorges, crossing the famous Kasbahs road and the rose’s valley. Arrive to Ouarzazate. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
6TH DAY: OUARZAZATE / MARRAKECH
After breakfast, visit of the Kasbah Taourirt: old residence of the Pasha Glaoui .
Free time and drive to Marrakech crossing the Tizin-Tichka pass (2267 m high). Arrive at Marrakech. Dinner and overnight.
7TH DAY: MARRAKECH / ESSAOUIRA / MARRAKECH (1ST OPTION)
Full day excursion to Essaouira, located in the Atlantic coastline, located at about 2hours and 30 min from Marrakech, provides a relaxing place to wander the beach, explore the Medina (Old town), the fishing port and feel the history seep into you from its fortified rampart. Return back to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel .
7TH DAY: MARRAKECH / OUZOUD / MARRAKECH (2ND OPTION)
Full day excursion to explore the biggest waterfalls in Morocco “Ouzoud waterfalls”
Which is one the most surprising attractions in Morocco.
Upon arriaval, you will see the river plunge 300 feet in a complex network of waterfalls thah cascade one into another through 3 major and several minor drops.
Free time and return back to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel .
8TH DAY: MARRAKECH
After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech airport.
